INDIANAPOLIS – The Crossroads League named Spring Arbor's Bethany Balcer as its 2016-2017 Female Student-Athlete of the Year on Wednesday, honoring the two-time NAIA Women's Soccer All-American with the prestigious award for the second time in as many years to begin her collegiate career.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Crossroads League named Indiana Wesleyan's Lane Mahurin as its 2016-2017 Male Student-Athlete of the Year on Wednesday, selecting the NAIA Men's Basketball First-Team All-American from among an outstanding group of nominees from around the league.

INDIANAPOLIS - Grace's Chad Briscoe was recognized for his outstanding work this week when he was announced as the Crossroads League Athletic Director of the Year. Briscoe, who also won the award in 2010, served Grace, the Crossroads League and the NAIA on a number of levels this year.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Crossroads League announced on Monday that Seth Mikel from Taylor University has been named its 2016-2017 Sports Information Director of the Year. The SID-of-the-Year award is voted on by the 10 Sports Information Directors within the Crossroads League.

AUSTIN, Texas – Taylor University seniors Matt Hall and Tanner Dye were each named to the 2016-2017 CoSIDA Men's Track and Field and Cross Country Academic All-America First-Team, with Hall being tabbed as the CoSIDA Track and Field and Cross Country Academic All-American of the Year for the College Division.
