KANSAS CITY – Six student-athletes from the Crossroads League were selected as 2016-2017 NAIA Division II Women's Basketball All-Americans on Thursday, with two-time defending NAIA National Champion, Marian University, leading the way with two awards.

 

The Knights placed Jessica Almeida on the First-Team All-America list, with Kellie Kirkhoff taking Third-Team recognition. Crossroads League Player of the Year, Miranda Palmer of Huntington, joined Almeida on the First-Team, while Taylor's Kendall Bradbury joined Kirkhoff on the Third-Team.

 

Sophia Sears of Goshen and Kelsey Key of Indiana Wesleyan rounded out the list of Crossroads League athletes to be highlighted, as each claimed a spot on the Honorable Mention All-America Team.
