KANSAS CITY – Marian held at No. 4 for the third-straight NAIA Top-25 Softball Poll and Taylor received votes for the second-straight ranking, as the two programs continued to represent the Crossroads League in the national ratings.
No. 4 Marian (34-2, 25-1 CL) earned 476 points in the third regular season poll of the year. The Knights boast a five game lead for first place in the CL standings with 10 games left to play, as they look to close in on a third-straight Crossroads League Championship.
RV Taylor (28-13, 20-6 CL) took 17 points in the poll for the 33rd-highest total in the nation. The Trojans close with six-of-10 games on their home field, where they are 13-1 this season.
The NAIA Top-25 Poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches from around the nation. The next Top-25 Poll will be announced on May 2.
