Indiana Wesleyan topped Taylor by one point to win the 2009 MCC tournament championship. The Wildcats entered Saturday's competition with a one point lead on the Trojans with both teams carrying five spots in the finals' brackets.
 
IWU won both head-to-head matches between the two schools. TU won two of the doubles flights and one singles flight while IWU took home three singles titles.
