WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The No. 8-ranked Taylor women's cross country team logged another historic accomplishment on Friday, winning the Indiana Little State Championship hosted by Purdue University with six runners inside the top-20. Alex Berends and Elaine Schmeltz led the way by sweeping the top-two spots in the 148-runner field, with Jane Hawks taking 12th, Jenna Norris ending 14th, Anna Meyer finishing 15th and Allison Steinbeck placing 16th.
