JACKSON, Mich. - The Crossroads League had 13 competitive cheer student-athletes named to the 2024-2025 College Sports Communicators NAIA Men's and Women's At-Large Academic All-District Teams. Taylor and Indiana Wesleyan led the way with five awards each, while Mount Vernon Nazarene added two and Marian claimed one.
The CSC Academic All-District award is given to a student-athlete who maintains a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while having reached sophomore status academically and having participated in at least 90 percent of their team's competitions throughout the current season. Individuals must also have been nominated by their Sports Information Department to make the list.
Each school is allowed up to six nominations for men's at-large and six for women's at-large, with selected CSC Academic All-District recipients advancing to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors. Those awards will be voted on by members of CSC from around the nation and will be announced on on July 8 and 9.
