CL Earns 32 All-American Awards at Men’s Outdoor Nationals

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League picked up 32 All-American awards and a trio of individual national championships in another strong showing at the NAIA Men's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. The individual success led to four CL teams finishing inside the top-25 at the meet.
Marian led the way with 18 All-American awards and a national title in the 4x800-meter relay, while Mount Vernon Nazarene's Tyler Shipley scored a title in the pole vault and Indiana Wesleyan's Trenton Sweet topped the field in the 5,000-meters.
The Crossroads League had six teams place in the team standings, led by Marian in fourth, MVNU in ninth, Taylor in 16th and IWU in 21st. Two other CL teams posted All-American performances to place in the team standings, with Spring Arbor ending 31st and Goshen taking 47th.
