Marian's Abbey McNally Named NAIA Offensive Player of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One day after being named as the Crossroads League's Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, Marian women's basketball senior Abbey McNally has been tabbed as the NAIA's Offensive Player of the Week.
McNally's honor is the third national award of her career, with this being her first Offensive Player of the Week award, following her previous recognition as the NAIA Defensive Player of the Week in the 2024-25 season. The award comes on the heels of McNally's best offensive week of the season, where she averaged 27.0 points per game while shooting 76 percent from the floor. The senior had a dominating 29-point, 17-rebound effort against previously unbeaten Taylor, with her monster outing playing a key role in handing the Trojans their first loss of the season.
Abbey McNally's big offensive week began with a 25-point outing against Ohio Christian, where she scored in just 14 minutes of gameplay.
Marian will host Grace College on Wednesday night to open a three-game home stretch, with tip-off scheduled at 5:30 p.m.
